About me

I currently work as a research professor at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Korea University.

I did M.A. degrees in Linguistics and in TESOL at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), taught English for one year at Korea University [고 대], and then returned to UIUC for a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. I then taught in the Hanyang TESOL program, then returned to KU to work at the CTL. I've worked here since July 2010.

By the way, I'm a plain Caucasian American (in my case, Lee is a last name of British origin, from Old English, not related to Lee in Chinese or Korean).

Finding me...

In July 2010, I returned to Korea University to work at the Center for Teaching and Learning. You can find me at the CTL office in the Central Plaza of the KU campus, behind the main gate.

The CTL is in the underground main plaza, right past the main gate of the university. It's along the main road, halfway between Anam and Korea Univ. subway stations. The 2222, 1017, 101, 144, and other bus lines stop in front of the main gate.
